King Country Energy Kiwi Can Programme

King Country Energy became the main supporter of "King Country Energy KiwiCan" in 2005. This is a values-based program that had been operational in the Waitomo District for five years. Feedback from community - including Te Kuiti Police and the Te Kuiti High School principal - recognise the huge value of this program in improving the behaviour and self esteem of children involved in Kiwi Can with benefits for the entire community. With the help of King Country Energy, the continuation of the program has now been assured in the Northern region and has been further extended to the wider Taumarunui region where initial reports from schools are also very positive.

King Country Energy Kiwi Can is currently running in the fourteen local schools around our region.
